I went from a book reviewer to working for Web3 brands like Alchemy, Ternoa, Dailycoin
Many people ask me how I got these gigs?
-A big part was because of my strong personal brand across all socials.
-I always pitched my results - what I have DONE myself.
-AND never gave up!
It's my one-year freelancing anniversary. 🎉

Let's unleash the imagination and bring some amazing tales to life today. ✍
Gm Web3. ☀️
The sunrise doesn't care if we watch it or not. It will keep on shining even when nobody is looking at it.
So, grind in silence. Success will do the talking.
3 mistakes I did when I started out as a freelancer:
• Charging per word
• Not setting up contracts
• Not asking for referrals or testimonials
What to do instead?
• Charge per project
• Learn contracts and invoices
• Always ask for referrals and testimonials

In college, I used to think $2000 per month is the ideal income.
On Twitter, I learned you can build a $1M writing empire.
What changed? The people around me.
When you surround yourself with high-value individuals and content, you become high-valued. 🙌
Today, I helped almost 100 people rewrite their bios
It's made me realize the importance of expressing gratitude.
It's eye-opening to see how many people take FREE help for granted.
The easiest hack to grow is to help people in your niche.
Jumped on a call with a web3 writer needing help with setting up prices and a contract yesterday.
Made me feel so happy to be at this stage.
LFGrow together!🤝

6 followers away from hitting 2.5K! 🎉
Spoke for 60+ minutes last night on Greg's space about finding freelance work.
It feel so confident to take on more spaces now.
A few tips:
• Make a list of notes
• Try mirror practice or just talk to a friend
Do you like spaces?
Trust me when I say
Networking is the BEST part of twitter.
Send a DM to a creator or a friend you admire the most
Hop on a friendly call with them
You always learn something new...
Thank me later. ✨
How to earn in Web3?
1. Write bounties for
@SuperteamDAO
2. Pitch to companies with
@MilkRoadDaily
's Web3 Database
3. Build a powerful personal brand on Twitter like me to gain inbound leads
DM me if you need help ✨
The biggest lie i was ever told was...
"Writing has no money."
You can earn $2500 writing a single 2000-word deep-dive essay in Web3.
DYOR. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
Personal branding 101
Write 3 types of tweet everyday
1. Share snippets of your story to earn followers
2. Share authentic insights to connect with your audience
3. Share your niche's expertise to position yourself as an authority
Write all three to build a personal brand. ✨
What NOT to do when DM'ing people:
- Ping 10 times they ain't replying
- Directly for a discount/product/pdf
- Send a lone "hi"
What to DO instead:
Start with a greeting
Compliment their work
Introduce yourself and give value
First Week of January Analytics ✨

• I gained 79.5K organic impressions
• 20.8K Profile Visits
• 629 Mentions
• 173 New followers
• 3 new clients
Without:
• Twitter spaces
• Giveaways
ONLY with posting high-quality content.
Starting to get more and more referral clients (without asking) and it feels so rewarding! 🏆
Just put in your 100%, money will follow.
'Let your work speak for itself'
My favorite copywriter just followed me back 🥳
@ItsKieranDrew
!! ✨
Only yesterday I was writing a draft on what inspired me to start my newsletter and this guy is the
#1
reason why. 👇
I just published my first ON-CHAIN article using
@viamirror
🥳
"Blockchain For Beginners"
This is something I wrote back in June, 2022 when I was trying to understand blockchain.
You are welcome to share, comment, and collect my FIRST entry. ;)
Red flags I've learned to spot:
🚩 Clients who say I have long term work for you and asking for just one article
🚩Clients who are not clear about what they need and end up hiring you to manage everything from social media to designing
🚩 Clients who only want instant results
I applied at Alchemy to write blogs
Got selected to write threads for them instead
Never thought I'd enjoy writing threads so much
This is your sign to shoot the shot! 🍷
Gm! Woke up to this message on Fiverr!
The task was to write a manifesto for an NFT project.
If you're a web3 founder who needs a writer, let's chat. 😌
How to write a great tweet?
1. Have a clear goal for writing
2. Use numbered list or bullet points
3. Write in sets of three
Just like this tweet ;)
Don't complicate it.
Gm ☕
Every six figure entrepreneur you know started with:
• $0
We don't choose where we start from but we can choose where to go.
I'm proud of you
Keep showing up every damn day.
Gm everyone!
• Learning to write YouTube scripts for a client. ▶️
• Posted my first reel on Instagram 😎
• Writing an article on books to read on Web3 ✍️
What are you up to?
I started this creator journey with a lot of friends..
8/10 aren't here after 8 months.
If you're just starting out..
Do this 👇
• Cheer others
• Wish them well
• Celebrate their wins
But promise you'll show up everyday and beat the odds
Be 2/10
I'm rooting for you!
I started writing as a kid
I wrote book reviews for international publishers
From HarperCollins to Pegasus Publishers..
I did it all for FREE
Didn't know you get paid for writing..
And look at me today
Writing has become my full-time career
Life has a way of things :)
We are a fam of 1.5K now! 🥳
Thank YOU for following my journey.
For choosing to interact with me.
For being my friend.
Thankyou for making Web3 my home. 🫂
Everybody tells you how to start writing
"Write for testimonials"
"Write for FREE"
"Write for Twitter"
"Write for Medium"
I started my journey doing none of the above.
This is a reminder to forge your own journey and take others' advice with a grain of salt.
GM ☕
The only way to learn is by putting yourself out there.
Write 3 tweets a day for 14 days straight
You'll be so confident in your writing skills.
Strive to learn
Don't aim for perfection.
If I could back in time and give myself an advice
It would be learning cold DMs
I've landed half my clients with pitches they couldn't say no to
Just like Cal Newport says, "Be so good they can't ignore you'.
Even if your reply rate is 10%
100 DMs can get you 10 conversions
I want to be so successful that I can take time off any day I want
I can get 8 hours of sleep and read my favourite books. But also travel places I've never been to, explore the wildside.
Building publicly and practicing life long learning is the way.
What's your goal? ❤️🔥
1. Finding Mistakes
Whenever I finish writing an article
I feed it to ChatGPT and ask to point out mistakes
You'll be surprised at how accurately it can observe the tiniest mistakes go wrong and save you hours of editing and proofreading.
GM Web3!
99% of the people give up
So even if you're showing up today
Hitting 'publish'
You're already in the 1%
Showing up every damn day is difficult
But if things were easy...
Everyone would do it.
My three favorite freelancing tools: (FREE)
1. 12FTladder: Bypass any paywall
2. Clockify: Clock your time
3. HypeFury: Shedule Twitter content
Anyone else has a tool that's blown their minds? Pls share!
Your mind is plagued with intrusive thoughts
Don't rely on your memory all the time..
I recently started recording voice notes for:
• Tweet ideas
• To-do lists
• Anything I need to remember
Having a system in place removes distractions.
ChatGPT is an exceptional tool!
It won’t replace ALL copywriters - it will transform their work.
Serve as a bridge between personal brands and AI.
→ Average writers = average content using AI.
→ Great writers = great content using AI.
A good master knows how to train AI.
How I landed my dream client in 3 steps:
Google ➡ LinkedIn ➡ Twitter
1. Made a list of Metaverse blogs I wanna write for.
2. Picked one company and searched for the founder's name on LinkedIn.
3. DMed the founder on Twitter with my portfolio and got a positive response.
Writing tip:
Focus on clarity.
✖ I started freelancing and wasn't making enough.
✔ It was my 2nd month as a freelancer, and I'd made $200.
Which one would you rather read?
GM ☕
Financial freedom does not have one blueprint.
You can make your own definition.
Start with taking off those invisible chains.
We attract what we believe we deserve.
Realized I was letting deadlines bring me down.
Won't be sending a weekly newsletter.
Being bound to shackles is the last thing I want as a freelancer, gonna hit publish when the best of ideas flow, not because the clock is staring at me. ✨
Twitter can be draining.
On a short break for my mental health.
I'm gonna normalize taking breaks of 2-3 days every 2 weeks.
Please take care of yourself too. :) 🌻
