Doctors have warned taking such injections could give you an allergic reaction or put you in the hospital. It comes after a BBC report suggesting only a small no of those eligible for weight loss jabs on the NHS will actually get them due to budgetary constraints.

The account also doesn’t make it clear what exactly is in the syringes - at one point it says the semaglutide is mixed with water, while in another place it says it is mixed with the compound phenol. It is also not clear where the jabs are sourced from.
