Why yall act like Maki didnt massacre her whole clan, Sukuna didnt eat humans, Kenjaku didnt hop from bodies to bodies prior to the start of JJK, Toji didnt sell his own kid, Geto didnt off his own parents, etc... Suddenly NOW its a problem. This fandom is full of snowflakes.
JJK 261 was such a whiplash, especially for readers belonging to Asian communities because it so terribly twisted 2 major cultural values we know by heart. Filial piety & respect for dead bodies. Both values have been drilled to us since we were old enough for education.

Why do people want JJK theories to turn out true and get disappointed if they arent? I enjoy reading good theories, but I dont want fans to be 100% correct. I want to be surprised, make it that no one ever thought of that plot twist. Its so much more enjoyable to me that way.

(Not) friendly reminder that JJK is written for Japanese audience primarily. Just cuz you arent willing to educate yourself & adapt to other culture & beliefs, doesnt mean its the authors fault & he has to spell it out for you. At that point, you might as well read childrens book
So instead of establishing or alluding to any of this at all in the story, instead we get a single panel with an 8 in the background, some Buddah hand signs and a 0 in the background of another panel. And somehow the reader is meant to pick up on this. That is not good writing.

They say Gege killed off Kusakabe, Maki, Yuta when there was 0 confirmation of their deaths. And when those characters appear again to fight Sukuna, its gonna be "asspull", aint it.

Summary of behind-scenes story reveals from Jujutsu Kaisen exhibition:
-Yuji isn’t the type of char who aspires to be someone, like Hokage or Pirate King
-Initially, Megumi was the MC and Tsumiki was also part of Ch1, but idea was scrapped after Gege re-read & found it boring

They used an out of place darker filter comp starting from Harleys fight till the end of character introductions and didnt fix the chaotic weird zoom ins and outs of the bg during Peacemakers fight ever since the trailer.

Definitely. Noritoshi had a really good character growth in CG arc. We just know during 1 month timeskip before Shinjuku Showdown, Noritoshi poured his best to help Yuji and others prepare for the fight.

Regarding JJK not being MC centric tho, thats what sets JJK apart from current shounens & 1 of the reasons why I love it in the 1st place.
Yuji is inspirational just the way he is right now.
in the exhibition, Gege acknowledged that not expanding more about Tsumiki and her character is a huge failure on his part.
and JJK not being a MC-centric like other shounens thus the series being alright despite the MC being totally absent during a past arc is JJK’s weakness.

Masahiro Tokumaru is amazing.
Incredible cinematic ep for my current fav character in Oblivion Battery. The camerawork, camera tracking cuts, transitions, creative sb angles, real good use of sfx and bgm, etc.. all created such an emotional character backstory.

Till this day, this is still my favorite Yuji Gojo interaction ever. Just shows how simple and sweet the kid is.
I love Yuji and i understand the importance of this moment, i truly do. He's such an emotionally aware character and he sees through people because of that. Nothing much was said but the difference between others and Yuji was portrayed through a very human moment
