I’ve been so impressed with the Mulroney family. They stood for hours upon hours for days speaking with Canadians who wanted to pay their respects. And the impression I got was that this wasn’t some burden or duty they had to endure, but a genuine honour and privilege to speak to.

Watching @WayneGretzky speak about my father was bittersweet for me. Here is the Great One walking up, no papers in hand, to deliver a personal and thoughtful message. My family was so touched by his humour and humility. Tough to have highlights at a funeral but the Great.
I don’t know why this popped up on my timeline today, but I’m sure glad it did. We should all aspire to be as humble as Wayne and Walter Gretzky.
