Now that my first two days are in the books, I'm immensely excited to share that I'll be the editorial fellow

this year. It's already been so wonderful and I can't wait to see what the rest of this year holds. Young me would be so proud!
Hi

Today is my last day as the editorial fellow
@groveatlantic
&
@RoxaneGayBooks
!! It’s been a wonderful year of working with the best, most brilliant people at Grove and I feel immensely lucky to have had this time with them.
hey
#PitDark
! dipping in and out today. if I ❤️ your tweet please send your letter and 3 chapters as a word doc to noah [at] rossyoon [dot] com with PITDARK in the subj line! looking forward to reading :)
the news is live!! I'm beyond ecstatic to announce that I've joined
@_triangle_house
as a literary agent! This is such a dream, and I'm so happy to share it with y'all☁️✨ so much more to come!!
Find me here:
hey, I wrote this. if you want to read it, that'd be cool! it's about the *absolute least* thing that the Biden-Harris administration can do for trans people right now. it's also about me.
three years ago i was barely getting out of bed, not eating or sleeping well, and just struggling to find things to keep me here. enter Pilot, who absolutely changed my life and brings me joy every single day. happy 3rd bday 💖 (first pic is rare moment of a young noah&pi)
I wrote this, and it's live now. Special thank you to
@QianJulieWang
for selecting this piece for the
@ColumbiaJournal
non-fiction contest, and for the editors there who published it.
a few members of my chosen family surprised me with a gofundme for top surgery ... and so many of my friends (and even some people i dont know) have donated. and that’s just. wow. yeah.
payment for top surgery due in 5 days. and top surgery is in 25. i want to give my binders good homes, so if anyone needs a black gc2b binder in medium, i can send you one! Black trans people to the front, but anyone is welcome, and i’ll cover shipping 😊💖.
I hope we get much more horror in 2024. I want more queer horror, more horror from BIPOC writers, more horror mixed with whatever authors love, more cerebral horror, more horror that doesn't give a fuck about being easy to digest, and more place-specific horror. I want it all.
Thrilled, grateful, still a bit in shock? Thank you so much to
@ColumbiaJournal
, and thank you to the brilliant and kind
@QianJulieWang
for selecting my piece.
some ✨personal news✨ today was my first day at ross yoon agency as a full time literary assistant! looking forward to living my literal childhood dream of reading books for a living. 📚📚📚
truly, deeply, fully, thanks to everyone who supported me with RTs, words of affirmation, and donations. the gofundme reached its goal of half the total amount of 10k! the link will be there until the day final payment is due (aug 25th). thank you everyone again. 4 weeks left!!
i’d very much love some queer & trans horror, writing about sports, coming-of-age in a messy way, speculative fiction, and anything that centers on disability. it runs the gamut, so if you’re not sure, just try me!
hey! i want to read and review queer books as a freelancing thing. does anyone have any advice on getting started! i've got a net galley account and a tiny corner of the bookstagram world, but outside of that, not much. TIA book twitter!
hellooooo everyone minor updates: going by noah grey now (please feel free to use either/both names) pronouns are still in bio (he/they) and also, my profile picture is a front facing pic of myself, which has not been the case for a really long time - I like being Noah!!
i applied for a thing i wanted very much! i did not get it! but it is okay. just putting it out into the world because it’s a victory for me to have even made the application deadline. the next thing will come (i hope).
I *also* get to announce that the unbelievably brilliant
@k_ivertown
and I are working together. From the very first poem of theirs, I was absolutely stunned. It’s a privilege to be their agent.
so deeply tired of folks saying “once this Covid thing calms down” “once Covid is over,” as 100k new cases are reported a day. there’s no end in immediate sight.
good morning, in six days my papa will be getting vaccinated😭
i don’t even know what to say except that i love him and i cannot wait to hug him and i’m relieved.
here he is three years ago with the dog he said i shouldn’t get:
i’ve been waiting & waiting to celebrate this incredible news. so happy it’s finally here 🥹🥰 join me in congratulating the wonderful
@jesusrodriguezb
!!!!
today i told the two kids i coach that i use they/them pronouns. i was super nervous, especially because they’re a bit younger and i’ve known one for a while and not mentioned anything. you know what they said? “okay, cool!” and i wanted to cry of gratefulness
Happy to announce that I am now being represented by
@ng_rosenzweig
of
@_triangle_house
! I like to follow my heart when it comes to these things, and I am thrilled to have an agent who believes in my work and my vision so deeply.
very excited to share that I have an appointment next week with a lawyer to help me get all of my IDs updated!!! as soon as all my documents are lined up I will become so powerful
there are countless stats that point towards an improvement in mental health among trans people whose family uses the correct name and pronouns for them. there is quite literally *everything* to lose in the context of this person’s mental health, and yet parents/siblings refuse.
today, my manager informed me that she heard that i said i wished that we could put tampons in the men’s restroom. they’ll be installing a dispenser & sign this week! maybe a little victory, but it felt huge
Something I love about Orion's pieces for
@19thnews
that revolve around trans people is that they always bring up things cis people would never even think about.
Documents are so valued in the U.S. Getting them all to "match" is incredibly difficult.
hi twitter. what other month than
#PrideMonth2018
is better to ask all of you lovely peoples to try and use “they/them” pronouns when talking about me and generic / masc nicknames (dude, bud, homie) when addressing me. no worries if u slip up, but give it a shot, for me! thanks💖
i’m so serious when i say your friday should hold only one thing and it’s this book by the absolutely singular
@NK_Adjei
. *highly* recommend the audiobook, which you can get from
@librofm
! ✨
my dog is probably too big for the life i’m going to have at least for my 20s (small apartments, weird working hours) but his sweetness, goofiness, and love is worth it without a doubt. holidays are so hard but he makes them better.
im just really ... i really miss bagelwich’s turkeybaconeggwhiteandcheeseonaneverythingbagelsaltpepperketchup on an everything bagel .... yes this is a new jersey specific tweet no i don’t want to talk about it
so happy for class of 2021!!! & love to my class of 2020 who didn’t get to celebrate the way we wanted / deserved to after so much hard work. it’s ok to be sad about that! i am! while also very joyful for my friends!
Yesterday was
#TDOR
, and yesterday we lost more lives. I hope you'll read this and think of Daniel, and all of us, and how much we all deserve a better world.
I’m just now learning that Yale students have to apply to take part in extracurricular clubs and that it is very competitive. That is absolutely f*ck*ng ridiculous and needs to be banned ASAP. What an abusive mess.
Beyond ecstatic to see the news announced✨
Eshani is a brilliant, singular talent, and I'm so honored to have played a small part in finding her book a home with
@RoxaneGayBooks
.
This is just the beginning - I cannot wait for y'all to fall in love with this phenomenal book.
My book--the book born from years of obsession about my face, from hospitalizations, from living with a body that betrays me--will be out to share with the world in 2024 ✨💕
Not only that, but it'll heralded in by the magnificent
@rgay
of all people 🦄 I've never felt luckier.
hello, i ugly cried at this. i do not know my name yet (& i hope it doesn’t come to me in a starbucks) but the representation of this struggle, in a commercial for a huge company, is just... ah
At Starbucks, writing your name on a cup and calling it out is a symbol of our warm welcome. Starbucks welcomes you, whoever you are.

We're proud to be a part of the Gaza Evacuation Fund Book Auction - and we've got TWO listings up for you to bid on.
All funds go directly to Palestinians in Gaza who are attempting to escape to safety with their loved ones!
Hey everyone!! an exciting update: we reached $400 in funds!!! The UndocuTrans Stimulus fund hit its goal of 100k, so the money we raised will be donated to their other fund supporting undocumented/queer/mixed status families.
Most people are getting $1,200 checks to cope with COVID-19. Undocumented trans people are not.
The incredible
@nonbinaryhuman_
is doing these illustrations and has raised more than $300 to support
@TransLatinxDMV
! $10-25 on a sliding scale!
Some personal news: We are a collective of trans journalists who have felt erased and misrepresented by the industry at large. Today, we launch the Trans Journalists Association. 1/
My book's final elegy for Missy, my first love, a trans person who died at 26. He would have turned 41 next week. Grateful to the
@adroitjournal
for the perfect home.
if I do nothing cool for the rest of my life it won't matter because he's wearing a hat my dad designed. you can get one too @ rowing blazers :') good job pop
i know this is just a tweet into the void but there is a particular pain in seeing mass legislation against the existence of trans kids and nothing at all against what is actually harmful to all kids - guns.
I was lucky enough to get an e-galley of FLUX by
@jinwoochong
(ty
@NetGalley
!) and simply, y'all need to read this book. It's genre-bending, emotional, and singular in the best way. It was both deeply familiar and completely brand new - I stayed up all night to finish it.
the fact that chimamanda misgenders akwaeke emezi for 99% of her big meltdown temper tantrum essay should tell you absolutely everything you need to know about her and her transphobia.
