I have recently come to understand that there are people, whom I do not know, making very damning aspersions concerning my character and literally making things up just for the sake of spreading rumors. I tend not to feed into such trivial things but I’ll admit that it sometimes gets to be tiring. It is tiring to have to constantly deal with negativity and vitriol in social spaces when I sometimes use those same spaces as an escape from things like the constant worrying about the well-being of my aging parents or how to properly navigate through all of the emotions that came along with witnessing a loved one take their final breath last year.
