Spending the first weekend at the new place. I managed to move most of my stuff, the cats seem to be adapting well and I'm feeling incredibly lucky to have found a place with this view.

My little friend is at rest. He was the best cat and he left way too soon. I wish I could have spent a lot more time with him. I did everything I could but it was not enough, I couldn’t save my Mingau 💔

New member of the collection. It's a Chinese tree called Harland Boxwood. This one has a very impressive base and came with a beautiful pot.

I saw a bunch of owls during my walk, reminded me of the day I met a cute friendly owl a few years ago 🦉

I set up a new bonsai display by the pool this morning. From left to right the trees are Caliandra Seloi, Cambuí and Jabuticabeira, all native brazilian trees.

1 month since Mingau passed away. I miss him a lot and am still having some trouble getting used to not having him around anymore 💔

Mingau took his 20th injection today. I've been noticing a lot of improvement, he has been more alert, more active and I hope the 30th day tests will confirm this. Thanks once again to everyone who's been keeping him in their thoughts 💛

Mingau's blues. Tomorrow we'll reach 42nd day which means half of the treatment and so far it's working like a miracle.

I had a great time visiting a really nice bonsai exhibition yesterday. Even one of my trees was there:)

Big bird paid a visit today. Jamie was probably thinking if it was too big to eat

Jamie went for a walk today. I think he enjoyed it but got tired very fast. I'll try walk him more often to see if he gets in shape.

I'm so sad and very worried.. Mingau had to stay at the vet because he was not eating and his surgery is scheduled for this tuesday. It's the first time since I adopted him that he'll spend a night without me or my other cats and away from his home.

The news about Mingau are not great. It seems like the problem is even more complex than we previously thought. The cause is still not clear but it seems like a problem in his pancreas might have started a process that's been causing multiple points of fat necrosis 1/2

Jamie got his two lower canines and a couple other teeth removed yesterday. He is recovering well and the test results said he is doing great for his age. Diabetes and Kidney issues under control and his heart is strong and healthy 🤍🖤

I hired a guy to remove and relocate the beehive from my ceiling and I ended up with a nice supply of honeycomb. 🐝🐝🐝

My little guy is not doing so great. The past couple of days have been very difficult

And Mingau continues to fight bravely. He is taking his meds and vitamins everyday and despite having lost some more weight he is doing ok
