LIFE WINS! 434 Passes, 439 Defeated! In the face of the greatest threat to life our state has ever seen, Nebraskans stood up to deliver a historic pro-life victory that is sending shockwaves of hope throughout the nation. The abortion industry’s attempt to create a right to late-term abortion and eliminate our laws protecting women and babies has failed. Nearly 500k Nebraskans voted to protect women and children by voting “for” Initiative 434 in a resounding victory. Nebraskans rejected Initiative 439, which failed to reach the 50% threshold. For the first time in history, pre-born babies in Nebraska have a floor of constitutional protection. Your prayers, advocacy, and courage to stand in the gap for women, babies, and truth have saved lives. That courage is contagious and provides hope for the rest of our nation. While there is much work still to be done, we celebrate the lives that have been saved and are resolved to continue working to see every life cherished and protected.
