Saudi airport security causing me 1000 dollars damage for keeping my wheelchair batteries and not allowing me travel back to Qatar with my batteries that I flew in saudi with. The security wanted me to cargo ship my Lithium Battery 10Ah .

I remember growing up and parents would remove disabled children from the group kids when taking birthday photos because what will people say that they had a disabled child attending.
Fucking hell. A (mainstream, popular) photography company offered parents the chance to buy a school photo that didn’t include the disabled children. It really is a reminder just how much some of the public believe disabled people should be wiped from society.

Guys the health centers need to clearly say on boards which one is for Qatari & non-Qatari . It’s so bad seeing elderly moms having to drive around because health centers asking them to leave because not Qatari. It’s need to be on websites or boards outside

In my years of advocating and meeting parents to create a world where all children and especially child with disabilities flourish. I know Celine since she was a small toddler who moved from Qatar for her future but seeing her visiting Qatar again as a teen made me so happy🥹❤️

A lot of grown men are very immature the way they see disabilities or even something like autism. Past year I have made so many friends who are on the spectrum and even their cousins don’t know it because of stigma on it.

A lot of students with disabilities aren’t using public transportation often because it’s priced unfairly to non-disabled people hence don’t see many young students out but then everyone wonders where are disabled people.

If they started holding those standards of ‘honor’ on men in the community. The male population would be extinct.
Honour killing in my region are known as 'Syah Kaari' and murdering someone for honour is 'Syah Kanag'. Women are obligated to carry their 'honour' and if they fail, they must be blackened. Shot, strangled, drowned, but always reduced to soot.

From when I was 14 years olds till now I have met thousands of parents with children with disabilities and once awhile they’ll reach out to show the kid’s development in education or just new hobbies. It’s so beautiful 😭❤️❤️

Islam does keep things in context too with reasoning on this matter. People couldn’t find anyone to marry at that time so it was made halal but if it becomes harmful to your gene pool then better to marry out. You can find many Islamic qualified clerks agreeing to it.

So in Turkey if you’re born there you can eventually apply for citizenship but before that if you’re considered a resident and have a disability. The slight tax you would pay on income can actually allow you to disability allowance that you can use.

Terrible experience with security Riyadh Airport. My wheelchair batteries are even allowed on Saudi airlines and security didn’t allow me to take my wheelchair batteries and were telling me to ship them or leave them at the airport and go to my flight. I have no batteries now.
