5. Listen to your body! Most of us have messed up hunger cues, so it can be hard to know what our body actually needs, but if you can identify your craving, you can satisfy it in a healthy way. And, as always, drink a TON of water first, because you’re probably thirsty too

1. Clothes fit me so much better and aren’t uncomfortable anymore. I used to constantly feel constricted, exposed, and self conscious about my clothes and my body. Now, things fit looser and look nicer.

3. Try to eat filling, healthier foods when you feel a binge urge coming. A lot of binges come from extreme hunger, so if you get a decent amount of protein, carbs, and fats, you won’t be craving unhealthy foods.

4. Surround yourself with healthy food, people, and distractions! Get out of the house, away from your kitchen, stop thinking about food all day! Go to a healthy restaurant, or take a walk, or meet up with a friend. Don’t watch TV if it makes you crave high volume snacking.

6. Avoid artificial sweeteners! I know, I know, it’s impossible, it’s in every zero calorie drink that you love. But it can cause you to crave sugar, so keeping it to a minimum will reduce binge urges. I try to have no more than one drink with artificial sweetener each day.

8. While watching TV, chew gum or move around instead of eating! If you have a treadmill, it is easy to get steps in while watching TV, and you’ll have something to do besides eating. You can also give your hands something to do, like a fidget.

This is an obvious one, but high res is a game changer!! If you can, sticking to AT LEAST 1000 cals will literally make you feel amazing while still losing weight. It will also prevent binges!! Slow progress is better than no progress.
