@GarethM79 @HantsPolRoads I mentioned Lambo, not Porsche. Some come off accidentally, others are taken off to prevent detection by forward facing cameras, plus, only one chance for a witness to get a reg, rather than two.

@GarethM79 @HantsPolRoads No, the law has been the same since cars had to be registered. Start changing it and there'd be all sorts of appeals. Cars like Lambos always lose them on speed humps. Are they trying to evade ID or have they had a mishap?
