Smt. Aruna Narayan Gupta, Member (Administration & Vigilance) and Shri Yogendra Garg, Member (IT, TPS & Technology) in CBIC visited and reviewed the progress of the Customs Enclave, Wadala project in Mumbai on 04.02.2025. Chief Commissioner of Customs, Zone-I, Shri Nitish K Sinha, Principal Commissioner (General) Shri Rajan Chaudhary, and other senior officers accompanied them. Chief Engineer, CPWD provided a detailed briefing on Phase-I developments, assuring timely completion. Chief Architect, CPWD also briefly presented the proposed plans for Phase-II of the project. @cbic_india

The Tricolor was unfurled, followed by the inspection of the Guard of Honour and vibrant cultural events. स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक पहल स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए दिनांक 25 अक्टूबर 2024 को निर्यात आयुक्तालय (Export commissionerate) मुंबई जोन 1 (Mumbai Zone-I) द्वारा धारावी के काला किला मराठी नगर निगम स्कूल में एक चित्रकला कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यशाला में छात्रों को चित्रकला सामग्री प्रदान की गई और उन्हें स्वच्छता के महत्व के बारे में जागरूक किया गया। यह प्रयास बच्चों को स्वच्छता के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाने और उनकी रचनात्मकता को प्रोत्साहित करने का एक प्रयास था। #cbic_india

Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS-2024) fortnight from 17th September to 2nd October, 2024 with the theme ‘Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskar Swachhata’ was launched today at New Custom House, Mumbai Customs Zone-1. To mark the launch of Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2024, Swachhata Pledge was administered in the Daya Shanakar Auditorium, New Custom House today, in which Shri Nitish Kumar Sinha, Chief Commissioner of Customs and other officers of the department took the swachhata pledge.

On 10.9.24 , 24.73 kgs of NDPS narcotic drugs (heroin, cocaine, marijuana etc.) valued at approx Rs 177 Cr. was incinerated at CHWTSDF Taloja , Navi Mumbai by a High level Commitee of officials of Mumbai Customs Zone-1 and DRI.
