On the night of 04-05 Feb’25, customs officers at CSMIA, Mumbai, booked a case of smuggling 5 Siamang Gibbons (Symphalangus syndactylus) under Appendix I of CITES & Schedule IV of the amended Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. Action under the Act is being initiated @cbic_india

On the night of 03-04 Feb 2025, officers at CSMI Airport, Mumbai, seized a Gold weighing 2.830 kg, provisionally valued ₹2.21 Cr in 1 case. 03 Passengers had concealed the said gold inside poly bags and handed it over to private airport staff. 04 individuals were arrested.

On 28.01.2025, export consignment containing 5000 vials of Ketamine Injection BP (10ml each) was seized under NDPS Act 1985 by Air Cargo Complex (Export) Mumbai-III on account of attempted export without valid Authorisation/NOC of CBN. Two accused have been arrested.
