Well done to Ciara Nolan past pupil of 2006, who, along with Jean Francois Bonnet rescued a dog called Naoise, on Lugnaquilla last Saturday. Naoise, had gone missing two weeks earlier in the mountains. After a fortnight missing, the owners are thrilled to get her back. Great news
We are very excited to announce that first year student Zili Yang (Madeleine 1) has won this year's Zurich Young Portrait Prize (12-15 age Category) with her painting “A Girl in Silence”.
A Dublin man has beaten Covid-19 after being on life support for 26 days. Remarkably, this is the second time 59-year-old Conor Cleary has fought off a deadly virus.
On behalf of the Mount Anville School community I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the St. Michael’s College community on the devastating loss of their two students, Andrew O’Donnell and Max Wall in IOS over the weekend.

Zili Yang has been selected as one of only 20 young artists to be shortlisted for this year's Zurich Young Portrait Prize with her painting “A Girl in Silence”.
An exhibition of the shortlisted portraits will open in the National Gallery on 21 November 2020.
Well done everyone who so enthusiastically participated in today's Fancy Dress event. It was a wonderful mood booster to see the creativity of the staff. The students were really impressed by the time and trouble taken by so many people to make the event memorable.

Mount Anville Crowned Best Cross Country School in East Leinster! The girls had a wonderful day at the East Leinster Cross Country Championships in the Phoenix Park yesterday. 1200 students from 50 schools were competing at the venue, with individual and team medals on offer.
After months of uncertainty we are delighted to send our best wishes to Past Pupil and Past Prefect Lisa Mulcahy as she departs for South Africa with the Irish Under 21 Hockey Team to compete in the rescheduled Junior World Cup. Wishing you safe travels and successful outcomes.
Ireland’s Under-21 women’s side have finally departed this week for the refixed Junior World Cup in Potchefstroom in South Africa with the tournament getting under way on Friday at the Northwest University.
