@Sawtaytoes @storybookjs The in-browser test run is nearly identical to interaction tests. What’s different is that we use vitest to run these tests across ALL your stories very quickly in the background and show results in the sidebar. And a11y tests soon.

@njzydark @storybookjs Please see my responses to your other q. Vitest runs your project through Vite. It might be possible to pre-build using Rsbuild. Test-runner will work with anything but isn't compatible with our browser UI.

@njzydark @storybookjs If you prefer Jasmine-style test format to the CSF story format, there is also a `mount` version of the play function that more closely resembles Jasmine style.

@njzydark @storybookjs It might also be possible to pre-bundle your code using Rsbuild and configure Vitest to run the bundles. However, we haven't looked into that yet.

@njzydark @storybookjs Yes. This is all running in browser. The browser you’re currently developing in, and, when you run a full test run in Vitest, a Playwright headless browser.

@kylegach @MetalHaze @storybookjs Specifically, component and accessibility (a11y) tests are fully open source and run on your local dev machine.
