@TheFindingsofMe @melaninmamis a lot of pregnant women get braids close to birth so they don’t have to worry about doing their hair in the first month of the babies life, which is typically a stressful time. It’s not ghetto. She probs booked it for the week of her birth. I see plenty do it with nail appts too.

@SoftGhetto__ blk ppl weren’t the only ones to use finger waves in the slightest, & unlike a lot of creators that just take, she made sure to give her props to the lady & complimented her down. Plus she doesn’t have a lot of options with her alopecia so I can get her trying the closest thing.
