I worked @ Sun 1995-1998.
Sun introduced Java into the world & never monetized it.
My team built high-end 3D graphics capabilities to compete with Silicon Graphics (aka SGI).
At peak $SUNW, we considered acquiring Apple. So glad we didn’t.
That Sun campus is now Facebook HQ.

When I joined Twitter in 2012, there were 1000 employees (50% were Engineering).
By the time of the IPO in November 2013, the company doubled in size. That seemed too much, too fast.
But I loved working for Twitter. It will always be one of the highlights of my career.

I just ran away from a mass shooting at the Chiefs parade where I saw the Missouri governor (the gun lover below) running scared for his life next to me with an army of officers protecting him.
I am so sick of these NRA funded politicians.

Watching new season of “Picard”. As usual with Star Trek, the most unrealistic part by far is the construction of anything remotely like Starfleet Academy in San Francisco.
