I appreciate all the support in my mentions the past few days as we approach CFB25.
Never been more ready or excited to create for a new game and I've been at it a long time.
I've been a little busy to start the week so I don't have videos ready.
However, I did just get married this morning, so I'd say it's a great start anyway.
I knew the rebranding to "Classic Franchise" was a bad sign. The patch notes we got confirmed that. The only offline focus the game seems to receive now is for the consumer than doesn't yet play Madden.
There is still one thing I'd like to do in NCAA 14. Even if I can't get CFB Revamped running like I want it to (check earlier tweets), would you still be interested in a series in base NCAA 14?
We are about 10% of the way through Madden 23's life cycle, and both cloud and offline franchise have franchise breaking bugs. The offline problems have existed for multiple games. We need an update on this.
@MaddenNFLDirect
Got in my first few games of CFB 25. I really enjoyed the experience. Heck of a return and foundation. Thanks to all who came through to my first stream. Stay tuned for more + the launch of new Dynasty series.
It's been 2000+ days since NCAA 14 came out and I've played 19 seasons of Dynasty, and I just found out how to pick which coordinator you want to hire.
Let's have some fun. I'll announce my first CFB 25 plan. I'll save a more traditional rebuild team for the main channel.
But I absolutely want to take over the Miami Hurricanes for a series on the 2nd channel.
Hearing a lot about the CFB 25 sim engine having too many upsets. I think doing Force Wins on the more imbalanced games until a fix is out is the move.
We all have a role in creating real change in the fight against racism.
Listen, support, and act. We must do all three and not remain complacent in creating the society everyone deserves to be apart of and is fair and just to all.
Vikings quarterback misfortune over the past eight years:
🏈2016: Teddy Bridgewater suffers serious non-contact knee injury before the start of the regular season.
🏈2023: Kirk Cousins ruptures his Achilles in Week 8.
🏈2024: First-round rookie J.J. McCarthy suffers meniscus
Some other Wear and Tear gems:
- Wear and Tear adjusts based on quarter length.
-Ratings fluctuate. You could see a -6 on an attribute, but once he heals, he’s back to normal.
- You can see a player’s W&T in the formation play call.

Vikings Franchise has been hit by the draft reset bug. I have a video going up today of a full preseason game, but it kicked me back to the draft.
Series will be paused until further notice.
Tried some things to get the Vikings Franchise working around the game-breaking draft reset bug. Checked the file again, and it's back at the draft. Not trying anymore until it's fixed. It's Day 52 of Madden 23.
Speaking of, any word?

The Kelce social media growth train keeps rolling. In the past seven days, Travis Kelce has gained over 330,000 Instagram followers; the next closest player is Jason Kelce with over 115,000, then Patrick Mahomes with over 48,000, per

I never played Madden 08 on the PS2. I've been told this is a worthwhile game to go back and check out, so we will do that today, live. (As long as the disc I ordered works)

Also, when it comes to player based modes, football is almost too much of a team sport to really buy into the idea. Focusing on 1/22 players always felt off to me. Everything interesting about this experience could be better achieved in REAL Franchise mode.
We've talked about the yearly release model for sports games being a problem from a pure content/upgrade standpoint.
What I think is more apparent as the years pass is the amount of bugs/network issues. And these issues persist for a major chunk of the game's life.
That was by far the biggest livestream I have done. We peaked at 3309 viewers. Thank you all for the support, and I hope you're excited for Year 3 of the Broncos Franchise!
Shitty end, like the other 61 seasons, but a year that far surpassed any of my expectations. They ran hot and scored some improbable wins but rarely played like a playoff game winning team.
To expand on this, I just don't understand FOTF as a core player. It doesn't appeal to me, and the resources do not seem worth it. It's certainly not what Franchise players have been asking for. My only conclusion is nobody asked for it, and it's a mode made for marketing.
I don't doubt that development on Madden 24 is going to come with more pressure after 23's experience.
But as far as a "make or break" year with an emphasis on Franchise, I'll believe it when I see it.
No content expected today, I got lucky and scored a PS5 on the Best Buy drop today and already picked it up.
And I have a rebuild I hope to start up soon.
I'll be looking at new Franchise series in Madden 24 shortly. Hopefully by next week or sooner.
My project lately has been XP/regression sliders. My favorite addition this year was the new age sliders. I'm not done yet, but I am confident I'll have a very good set.
Brian Flores should have had another year IMO. That turnaround was impressive and it's a miracle they made it as far as they did with that OL and relying on a 2nd year QB/rookie WR to carry the offense.
It's been nearly 8 years and the industry has changed a ton. I've always had concerns about the dynasty experience in a reboot after all this time. But we shall see.
I don't play MUT, but I've seen EA issue "Make Rights" routinely for issues with that part of the game. I want to know what they plan on doing for Franchise players beyond just giving them access to what they paid for.
@EAMaddenNFL
Compensation update: Saints are signing DE Carl Granderson to a four-year, $52 million contract extension that includes $35.3 million guaranteed, source said.
5th year options were randomly removed. Teams with young promising QBs keep drafting more of them.
It's not just new features this game needs, but also cleaning up new messes.
At this point, I imagine any big features we've all wishlisted for many years aren't viable for M21, but I think there are many ways the mode can still improve in the short term. We'll see.
@SamuelBrownRBT
Without a doubt the worst I've seen. QB injuries hurt the primetime schedule a lot and sunk teams. Many teams looked good and fizzled out by the end of the year. Playoffs have not been great. Two preseason favorites make the SB. And a lot of sloppy football.
