Every time I rewatch FURY ROAD, my appreciation for Nicholas Hoult’s performance as Nux grows even deeper. So many wonderful little nuances sprinkled in there between so many big character moments. Furiosa and Max are driving the story here, but Nux is its heart.

One of my absolute FAVOURITE things about the DnD movie was how physical & tangible it felt because of efforts like this. Was there CGI? Absolutely! But where they could, characters were constructed. It simultaneously felt refreshing & nostalgic, like the classic fantasy bops.
