My religion is lacrosse but I mostly tweet about atheism. The medicine game is for everyone. So is atheism!

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture The way you describe it is both worse and impossible. Yes I am sure. So it can't be the best possible. The best imaginable might be different but not yours. I can't imagine one though so I have to rely on others to propose their crazy schemes.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture Reincarnation is better than heaven in this way but it is not better than no afterlife at all.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture I am not admitting that at all. I am saying that what I think is true is not bad and that having potential is not good in itself. Your afterlife is not better than none. If I thought reincarnation was real, I would be glad there was a button that I would then not push.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture It sounds to me like you just don't know what it's like to not have motivated reasoning. Wanting something more does not make it more likely. Also, I don't want that more. Maybe I give you the reasons why it's not bad because I think it's not bad sure. But I think it's not bad!

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture It is really that I don't want the afterlife that you think is happening. I also don't want the afterlife that Christians think is happening or to be reincarnated as something else or someone else. I don't desire that as a living person and when I'm dead I won't desire anything.

@JovialDane @leonheden @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture This is not sad. No dead person is sad. No dead person wishes they were alive. We will all die and this motivates the reasoning for wild predictions but even though dying is bad, being dead is not.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture I still don't see the connection between what I want to happen and what will actually happen to other ppl.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture We will not be sitting there wishing we could see it. Maybe the key word is potential...I do not see any chance of that potentially happening. I'm sure if I truly thought I could live forever I would be an apologist for that too.

@JovialDane @leonheden @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture He's trying to equate no afterlife with suicide. Surely those who think there is an afterlife desire death in some sense too but does wanting to go to heaven mean you are suicidal? Of course not. Same with us.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture No afterlife has nothing at all to do with suicide. You need to stop using this button metaphor and framing things like we are murderers. Thinking there is no afterlife, or that it is not bad to have no afterlife, isn't suicide in any sense. Those things are not "in line."

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture Is this a thought experiment like "if you could choose" or do actually think that someone's desired afterlife is the one everyone will get just because they chose it? Not putting anything past you.

@leonheden @JovialDane @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture Why do you need to be reincarnated if time recurs? If time happens again, you will already be there.

@leonheden @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @JovialDane @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture Our time is momentary compared to all time. For us to experience our time again, then everyone and everything else must experience their time again. This is not better than not experiencing it again because we have experienced it and we shouldn't kill the future.

@leonheden @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @JovialDane @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture So once and not again.

@leonheden @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @JovialDane @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture Not if I don't remember. You would only experience it once because it only happens once.

@leonheden @TrolleyDave1971 @RicoKRS @JovialDane @angusintheditch @RevNFidel @NoHolyScripture I would explain to my family that the button does nothing (especially if it works!)
