Finding reading/writing Twitter was the best thing that ever happened to me. Discovered Dostoevksy, Tolstoy, Kierkegaard, etc. and even MORE C.S. Lewis and Tolkien. Now I pour over PDFs and furiously scribble down phrases you all tweet. Incredible. God bless each of you.

I find God at church, on walks, and in the FedEx delivery driver's wave. Through my mother's smile, the store clerk's patience, and on pages of novels written long ago. He's in the eyes of my favourite person, the words of my cousin, and the work of my father.

@DylanoA4 That's why C.S. Lewis said something along the lines of you cannot love others until you love yourself and you cannot love yourself until you love God. Ourselves are the lens through which we see the world and God. Looking up to look within so you can properly look out.

C.S. Lewis said to love is to be vulnerable and if we love, our hearts will be wrung and possibly broken. We cannot make someone love us back. We cannot always get what we want, but we can have what's good for us. And what is good for us, what is meant for us, it will endure.

C.S. Lewis taught us love's value does not rest upon reciprocity. Some people will not appreciate/value your love, your time, your attention no matter how hard you try. Accept and let go, not everyone can or should speak the language of your soul.
