@smallesttayman
people don't appreciate her art, she was so vulnerable who cares who the song is about, they're about her and that's all that should matter
taylor has so many brilliant songs about complex mental health struggles but she is never taken seriously however a random man can have the most mediocre song about anything and he will be praised for his "deepness" and "openness"
@repiscrumbling
i love that she's not pretending not to want fame and to not care about charts when she does, because when artists do that and prove the opposite it's so cringy, she's so open about wanting to be number one
not only are you grossly misunderstanding the meaning of the song/lyrics but you are using them to shit talk swifties that feel let down by Taylor hugging a literal trumpie, what the fuck is wrong with you
@smallesttayman
it's so sad, because it doesn't matter, sure, there are many break up songs in the album, but they are mostly about how fame has affected them, the person that broke her heart is unimportant, they're not the main character in the story nor in the album
@so_it_gays
if you don't enjoy the album that's fine but if your critique of it is "she's so dramatic like omg she can't be mentally unstable cause she's so rich and privileged" then not only are you a shit person, but your opinion on her music is worth absolutely nothing
if your reaction to seeing people body shame Tay is (1) insult how she used to look and say she doesn't look like that anymore (2) post close ups of specific parts of her body to show that person how hot and "proportionate" (I just puked in my mouth) she is then I fucking hate u
why would anyone think you're defending her in any way?? what do you need to defend her from? the obsession with making it clear that you hate a woman before you call a man out for being a horrible person is strange and downright nasty
@crewnecklor
like, if she's straight people thinking she's gay doesn't actually hurt her but if she isn't seeing people get called slurs for interpreting her art as queer is probably making her feel like shit
pretending like ttpd is an album made to get money when she has hardly promoted it and it touches very off putting subjects that a lot of people do not want to hear only because you can't see it past the muses you believe it was written about is fucking stupid
@folkdann
just that it's not in her best interest to do anything to advance artistically, she makes more bucks by just feeding fans more of her personal lore, but if she starts to flop she'll want to get attention again and then she'll actually try to make a splash i.e. folklore & evermore
you guys are being very stupid because there is no way you believe ttpd is what was expected of her, you're actually mad because you think she is gifted enough to do what you seem "good" and it bothers you that she is doing what she wants to do at the pace she wants to do it
I don't think you people know what Zionism is because the mere fact of saying isr*eli cuisine implies you believe an apartheid genocidal state is an actual country, which is what Zionism is
I genuinely hope Maya and his other victims do not feel guilty, this is in no way, shape or form their fault and whoever claims it is is just a raging misogynist, sending them so much love 🫶
some people here are stupid as hell, why are you putting down Tay's music to defend folklore to antis? "not all her stuff is like this you should listen to my tears ricochet" you should never speak again actually

#LondonTSTheErasTour
@LAHXLLUClNATlON
like it was so cringe how she was writing a book about literally a normal breakup after all these years and those girls were crying as if they saw fault in our stars 😭😭
criticizing Taylor for not speaking up is valid, she has a lot of influence and you have every right to be upset that she isn't using it, but using misogynistic rhetoric to do so isn't ok and it makes people take your arguments less seriously
