Got my diagnosis last year at age 30. There is a unique grief that comes with adult diagnosis - looking back you realize just how much you were failed as a kid by being forced to struggle with symptoms that got overlooked/ignored/invalidated, or that you were punished/shamed for.

@lokymann @soursillypickle might be a common experience but it’s not universally true, speaking from personal experience as a younger sibling. as a kid I was far more eager to please & far less likely to rebel - so I got “rewarded” with more control & restrictions. typical milestones came later for me too.

Since being pardoned, many insurrectionists have quickly been getting re-arrested for inflicting harm against others… It’s almost as if the group who violently stormed the US capital was made up of volatile, dangerous criminals. Weird, that!!!!
Newly pardoned Jan. 6 rioter Andrew Taake has been re-arrested. The Harris County, Texas DA had an outstanding warrant for Taake’s arrest on a charge of “online solicitation of a minor.”
