India needs to address all of these if they want to win in England.
Impressions from the Australian tour: Only batsman who returns with his reputation reasonably intact is Jaiswal. Only bowler who returns with his reputation enhanced is Bumrah. Serious questions must be asked about Shubman Gill. KL Rahul continues to be inconsistent as ever. Nitish Reddy is not a quality bowler yet. At best he is a batting option. Prasidh Krishna and Harshit Rana are not really high quality bowling options. The strategy of packing the side with those who can bowl a bit and bat a bit has to be reviewed. Mohammed Siraj has been inconsistent and until the last two matches failed to provide Bumrah the needed support. Rohit and Virat need to take a call on their red ball cricket future. Hungry young players need to be given chances with both bat and ball. IPL success does not mean Test success. Gautam Gambhir is not a good option as Coach. In Test cricket there is the need for one among the top four batsmen to be able to bat through a day, the equivalent of a Dravid, Pujara or a Ravi Shastri of yore. India needs to find such a batter. @naomi2009 I went to the post office to post some parcels and it took me 45 mins , just in the queue. I think this explains why.
