@CBKimbrell It defies reason. People can’t grasp the difference between lawful, beneficial immigration and illegal, criminal infiltration of our country.

For years, I’ve signed my letters to my kids with “be good and do good,” à la John Adams writing to his son, so I’m thrilled to see this by QB17!!

@GuruCarnivore Sure makes planning & prep easier to center meals around a few simple, fresh foods! We typically have beef and a salad for supper. And apples 😉

@NYFarmer And good on town highway guys keeping roads passable. Back in the day, our town hwy super. knew we had every-other-day milk pickup; on snowy days, he’d check in w/ dad to see if it was an “on” day. Jesse would make sure he plowed our road early on those days. Rural NY was great.

@Mr_Black_Cotton Praying for you 🙏 Here’s a song to pray through by Phil Wickham: “If you curse me, then I will bless you If you hurt me, I will forgive And if you hate me, then I will love you I choose the Jesus way”

@e_of_blandings This block is next to a strip of pines that we rotate heifers into. Will likely replant 🍎 in 2026.

@jcniyomugabo We’ve only recently traveled abroad, but for sure checked markets. We grow 🍎 so always look at them wherever we go, most recently Texas.

@CarlKistler @baghatpark @Flamingredrose3 @WallStreetApes H-2A is not slave labor. Workers are well paid ($18+/hr in NY) and happy to send that $$ home. US Domestic workers must be sought first and paid similarly. I-9s must be done for all workers. I’m not sure how this man is able to skirt labor laws w/o fines.

@CarlKistler @baghatpark @Flamingredrose3 @WallStreetApes Problem? Lots of paperwork and ~$800-1000 per worker. It’s a cost of doing business. 🍎 prices are not elastic; growers don’t just pass that on to consumers. Just trying to shed light on the policy.

@BrunoBuckeye @Flamingredrose3 @WallStreetApes Immigrant. US domestic workers are able to travel and take seasonal jobs. But must be paid minimum legal wage.

@baghatpark @CarlKistler @Flamingredrose3 @WallStreetApes Application and transportation fees covered by farmer. Guaranteed wage, free housing, no FICA tax. In NY wage is $18+/hour

@SupportMarkets @WallStreetApes “Easy” is a relative term. Many hoops and expensive. The fact that most have to hire a 3rd party firm to do the paperwork bears this out. Still, H-2A program is best means of getting foreign workers.

@scottwestacre It takes a village … or a herd. I enjoy seeing our cattle do this as well

@KaeleyT Yes, a gross assumption. But, sadly, DEI hiring made people skeptical. The policies had unintended fallout.
