Northern sea otter pups stay with their mom for at least the first six months of their life before they’re ready to be on their own. Pups are born with a “pup coat” that is much fluffier than an adult coat and needs to be shed before they can dive to source their own food!

It’s with heavy hearts we report Min, our red panda, died last week. This is a difficult loss; Min was a favorite of guests and staff and an ambassador for her wild counter parts. We are thankful for all who cared for and about Min over the years.

The tiger cubs are trying new foods! 🥩 Zookeepers have started offering meat as an option for the tiger cubs. Keepers said the cubs were hesitant at first but after a taste have been enjoying the new introduction to their diet.
