Bummer in the whole Orono deal is the parents who don't complain, who enjoy the games, stay out of the drama, are realistic about their kids hockey future. It's too bad for them. And the whole hockey team really. It's too bad we don't have a way to neutralize the toxic parents

This is great. The MN model of High School kids staying home and being role models for the kids in their community is one that can't be beat. It's just one of the things that makes this the great state of Hockey!

2 common things I see underclassmen lack when playing Varsity:
1) Confidence
2) Explosiveness
Confidence is gained with repetition in high pressure situations. It takes time.
Explosiveness is something any kid can work on continuously off ice, for free.
