@red_standing @Kevin_cindy12 No they are related to temperature and precipitation patterns, both affected by atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration. Your graph shows a change in US fire management policy - too little is allowed to burn, leading to build-up of fuel in forests and hotter fires when they burn

@com_ecology @ambertin99 @DanMcGlinn I think that is a terrible dystopia. There are already way too many project-specific, lab-specific, do-a-bit-of-everything R packages out there. Instead put code on github, define all analyses in the paper as CI tests, and "release" with an explicit version listed in the paper
