We stand with @reb_hopkins & so many others, including adult MKs in our community, who have experienced harm & trauma when they participated in "investigations" by Telios Law. Law firms shouldn't be the go-to orgs for trauma-informed, victim-centered, independent investigations.

It's time for me to speak up about my concerns with @TeliosLaw and @MAF_us. Before I started working as a journalist for @reachjulieroys and @CTmagazine, my pilot husband and I served for 14 years in Indonesia. We left in 2019 with concerns.

Abuse happens across the board in religious settings, even in groups who themselves work for peace & justice. Please sign this petition by a small group of courageous individuals who have experienced harm at the hands of MCC leadership. #stopmccabuse

We stand with our Project Manager and the other students at her seminary as they call for accountability, truth, and justice. If you read the Julie Roys article, you'll notice a quote by Sarah that mentions she works for MKSN. #standwithvictims #saynotoabusiveleadership

The Northern community has been a place where I have grown, healed, & truly learned to embrace who I am as a daughter of the King. Participating in/sharing this story is honestly heartbreaking. I call on the board to do right by victims. #northernstudentsforjustice

We fully support the adult MKs who are spearheading this effort. For far too long, missions & mission agencies have deflected, covered up, or done internal "investigations" which have been lacking to say the least. Help us sign the petition. #MissionsToo

Our Project Manager is attending a webinar put on by @tcktraining. Yes, MKs are part of the larger TCK group. There is some fascinating work and research being done re: this population. MKs are known to be resilient, but I would purport its more of a way of dealing with ACEs.

Another day. Another report on historical abuse by a mission agency regarding MK abuse. We will be issuing our official statement soon, but we would welcome feedback from MKs and others well-versed in these types of reports/statements. #MissionsToo

We should stop using the word "orphanages." While there may be well-meaning people working to help true orphans, the sad reality is, many corrupt & abusive individuals are drawn to working with vulnerable children, who have families. See for example
