Good news. The Cosmos 848 proposal is likely to pass.
It intends to lower the ATOM inflation rate from ~14% to 10%, resulting in a Staking APR drop from ~19% to ~13.4%.
This benefits both the Cosmos ecosystem and Osmosis.
The market really likes Autonolas' AI Service Layer story, and $OLAS is doing well in DEX pools with a reasonable market cap.

@EclipseFND
Embracing the narrative of Raas, Eclipse empowers developers to customize rollups just like ordering from a restaurant menu to cater to their specific needs.
let's dive into Eclipse's delightful offerings!
Lately, many people believe that renaming "Data Availability" to "Data Publication" is more intuitive to everyone's understanding of this process.
This thread explains it very clearly.
Eclipse's latest updates are truly noteworthy.
Powered by the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), Eclipse provides a versatile foundation for other Layer 3 solutions to build upon.
Eclipse ruffled some Solana feathers recently after announcing its general-purpose Optimium that:
1. Uses the Solana SVM for execution
2. Posts transaction data to Celestia
3. Uses an Ethereum validating bridge
Assuming usage of Eclipse, fee revenue will flow both to Ethereum

3/10 Digital ownership is one of the greatest innovations of our lifetimes. Let the boomers tell themselves regs and fraud and falling prices will kill the industry. They'll die long before crypto does.
7/7 Future Possibilities
1. Onchain generative art as templates for creativity.
2. Decentralized manufacturing with tokenized facilities.
3. Exploring generative code in synthetic biology.
🌐 A digiphysical future is coming—let's connect at the art-tech intersection!
5/10 NFTs are reaching for meaning. Soon, meaning will reach for NFTs. All the Web2 participants will likely enter in 2023 (Amazon, Google, Apple, etc.) and NFTs will go parabolic. Perhaps not in price but in minting and trading and exposure to new crypto participants.
6/7 Use cases - Metaverse
NFT holders can directly influence and modify metaverse land and media.
Land can evolve through interactions or art curation, offering dynamic experiences.
Virtual fashion NFTs can transform between wearables and artwork.
4/10 One of the biggest opportunities in crypto remains BTC + DeFi. Someone will unlock that $330 billion pie soon, and it shall taste delicious. If DeFi doesn't shine after a $32 billion CeFi collapse, it's hard to see how it ever will.
30/n
SSV's primary value capture comes from the cost savings it provides to Lido's staking service providers by handling the node operation and maintenance work. The true value of SSV can be measured by the sum of the costs on the right side of the graph.
1. There are still significant barriers hindering the widespread adoption of Layer-2 apps.
2. Opportunities often arise where there's no consensus.
3. Perhaps it's time to reconsider the Cosmos ecosystem.
One advantage in Cosmos' microstructure is that new Cosmos chains are bullish for existing Cosmos chains.
I don't believe the same is true for L2s which need to take on the costs and latency of routing through Ethereum to tap into other L2s.
Key take aways:
1. The majority of primary investments continue to be directed towards CEXs, indicating that the CEX battle is not completely over, especially in specific regions.
2. Animoca's $50M fundraise stands out as a significant move, and Web3 game is still on the way🚀
Crypto fundraising continues to trend downwards.
Only just over 100 deals were made in October with ~$500M in volume, and early-stage deals continued to dominate deal flow, making up 80% of all deals.
7/10 As veTokens grew dramatically in 2022. Protocol-owned liquidity (POL) could become an increasingly important moat. Expect more projects to amass warchests that can be leveraged for better execution, stablecoin backing and use-cases we haven't even dreamed up yet.
20/21 Chapter Five - Some famous ecosystem players
1. Coinbase launched its own L2 solution - Base
2. a16z developed a Rollup client using components from OP Stack
3. Worldcoin will migrate from Polygon to Optimism
4. BNBCHAIN adopted OP Stack to create opBNB
5. More and More
9/10 If crypto has convinced me of one thing it's that incentives work better than punishments.Thousands of miners, node operators, stakers, devs collaborate around the world without central CEO. If the world needs your project and it's failing, your incentives are likely broken.
This is an excellent thread on the infrastructure competition landscape!
It takes a developer's perspective and predicts the potential future developments of ETH, Solana, Cosmos, and various App-specific Chains, etc.
#infra
#appchain
#web3
Great counter post against tons of rollups
IF app-specific rollups are too costly and don't offer necessary technical customization most developers will launch on a shared rollup
This has me thinking on my views on Ethereum Rollups vs App chains with Cosmos vs Solana 💭

@0xDinoEggs
I’d say RaaS and SaaS are very very different things and should not be compared. SaaS is subscribing to a service that you don’t run or manage. RaaS is basically a more complicated way to build and deploy a dapp and only useful if you’re a power user.
2/10 Discover two remarkable aspects of Eclipse:
1. Eclipse supports both EVM and SVM chains, fostering a conducive environment for the launch of numerous SVM L2s on Ethereum.
Just picture NeonEVM running on an SVM on an L2, and that would be really cool.

raises an intriguing point.
The Cosmos stack could potentially play a pivotal role as a decentralized solver infrastructure within the Ethereum ecosystem.
A massive opportunity for the Cosmos stack is to serve as decentralized solver infrastructure on Ethereum.
If you're interested in speccing how this might work and why it makes a ton of sense feel free to reach out.
7/8 Distributors:
Distribution is a key part in the Midstream. Through case studies, we'll look at what makes these strategies stand out, their GTM and monetization approaches, giving a clearer view of how Web3 game distribution is evolving.
15/21 Setting the stage for validity proofs
Another benefit is that it creates a clear path to add zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to the OP Stack. The separation of FPP and FPVM means that the same op-program can run in both an FPVM but also a ZKVM.
4/6 The market has been in a prolonged bear trend for over 400 days, and the upcoming halving cycle in April-May 2024 is on the horizon.
Barring any unforeseen black swan events, a significant BTC correction in the short term seems unlikely.
19/21 Some Eg
Security: Chain Servicers must not run unapproved off-chain sequencing code or collude with L1 validators to inflate sequencer batch costs for profit.
Universal: OP Chains must upgrade together under OP Stack releases that are approved by Optimism Governance.

1️⃣ Creation: Where designs are born using algorithms or AI.
2️⃣ Curation: Picking & refining designs to perfection.
3️⃣ Translation: Converting digital designs into machine-ready code.
4/5 Game vs. Platforms
Many projects aim to capture the value of Web3 games by building platforms, then who will continue creating the games themselves?
In a landscape where platforms dominate, becoming a good content provider can provide a distinct competitive advantage.

1/7 cLabs Proposal for Celo to transition to an Ethereum L2
Celo is proposing a transition from an independent EVM-compatible Layer-1 to become an Ethereum Layer-2 (L2) solution. Here is the discussion:
5/6 Flash Layer
To accommodate sudden surges in specific scenarios (eg, token sales, P2E games, airdrops), AltLayer introduces Flash Layer — a temporary chain that handles increased demand. FlashLayer serves as a tailored, disposable rollup with optional fraud proofs.
4/4 Although Web3's successful games may not exactly mimic the success of popular Web2 games, integrating established patterns and blending them with the contemporary aesthetics of young audiences is a well-developed approach to crafting hit products.

3/6 According to mining data, the cost to mine one BTC has risen to nearly $30k recently due to increased demand for mining power.
Since March 2023, BTC price has closely followed its mining cost. With the current cost at $30k, it's unlikely to drop below the cost in short term.

5/5 Web3 Gaming mass adoption
I've been closely following the Asian gaming market for a while. The potential for Web3 games in Asia is immense, with major publishers deeply involved in, and a massive user base.
Long live Asia's thriving Web3 gaming sector!
21/21
In short, OP develops the stack, similar to how Microsoft builds the Windows system, to foster the ecosystem's growth by encouraging greater adoption of OP stack.
As the decentralized governance of the Superchain eco matures, it ultimately becomes a true Superchain.
13/21 Dispute Game
It resolves disagreements over the output of the op-program. The aim is to narrow down the disagreement to the exact point in the instruction trace and the resolution of the dispute game relies on identifying the first uncontested claim.

2.3 Yet, Eclipse diligently addresses this concern by exploring shared sequencers and identifying the most suitable business model for RaaS. And their major focus lies in identifying real user cases.
2/4 ZepetoX is like the cool remix of the ZEPETO. Imagine creating your own 3D avatars and diving into virtual worlds. That's exactly what ZEPETO does.
At its peak, ZEPETO secured investment from SoftBank, reaching a valuation of $1B with a daily active user of 200 million.
6/8 Middleware Layer:
The magic happens when different elements come together. Middleware plays a crucial role in integrating SDKs, communication protocols, service integration, and monitoring tools, etc. It's the glue that binds various components of a Full On-chain Game.
3/3
However, for RaaS, with its stronger network effect, the KSF lies in expanding the network effect.
For example, the RaaS provider can pay users, creating a higher TVL, and make profit through the network effect itself.
7/21 Chapter three - Decentralization
To enhance the sustainability and security of the Superchain ecosystem, in early 2023, OP introduced the Decentralization Milestones Plan.
Here's a brief overview:
1. Ethereum settlement with ETH as Eclipse's gas token
2. Solana VM (SVM) - Highly performant parallel execution
3. Celestia - Scalability via data availability sampling
4. RISC Zero ZK fault proofs
3/12 Reintroducing LLM 🚀
In the age of AGI, Large Language Models (LLMs) are the stars 🌟. They simulate human thinking and perform diverse tasks, from autonomous driving to gaming strategies.
@abacusai
outlines AI Agents' workflow:
6/21 Superchain's Structure
It's a network of standardized L2 chains, sharing security, a communication layer, and a technology stack. Developers can seamlessly target the entire Superchain eco and abstract the underlying chains that their apps run on.
4/8 Value Chain Breakdown:
By analyzing the Web2 Gaming Value Chain, this article introduces the composition of the Web3 Gaming Value Chain, which can be mainly categorized into: Infra Layer, Middleware Layer, Tools Layer, and Applications Layer.
5/8 Infrastructure Layer:
The backbone of Full On-chain Games is a robust infrastructure. Game Public Blockchains, Game Engines, Communication Structures, and Rendering Layers are the building blocks shaping seamless, secure, and immersive gaming experiences.
