If you look on @l2beat , you'll notice that neither @arbitrum nor @optimismFND have fully enabled fraud proofs. Your first reaction might be "how could the fraud proof rollups not have fraud proofs..." But it's not that simple! There's more to rollups than the proofs themselves.

Polygon gets way too much heat. PoS chain is not pointless and has kept users inside the Ethereum ecosystem for years. If it didn’t exist, more people would have begrudgingly gone to Avalanche or something.

@antiprosynth @0xNIC0 A lot of people would argue that it is far from pointless (it “saved” Ethereum) and that it’s not a sidechain. That being said, we are working on upgrading Polygon PoS into “true L2”. Lastly, arguing in that manner will just push me away from Ethereum tbh, it’s becoming tiring.

The problem is most L2s make you pick between VMs, each with meaningful opportunity cost. It’s non-trivial to rewrite apps for different environments and startups can’t afford a misstep. Blended execution literally solves this. Blended = future proofed.

how do I pick what L2 to build on? do I use Base? or Arbitrum? or Blast? Starknet? How about any of the other 50? But they don't all use the same VMs? and L2s are hyper competitive, so if I pick the wrong one, I need to shift my business to a new one?

Guys please, please write. Just write something. Anything. I’m concerned about Mert. Mert has gone on some dates lately but cannot FOCUS on them because you guys aren’t writing. We want what’s best for Mert. In reading and romance.

I still don't get why so many smart people in crypto just refuse to write guys like the worst thing that can happen is that something you write will get screenshotted out of context, and used to cancel and harass you perpetually until the end of time it's fine

Such a useful way to think about blockchains 🔥 Etching it in stone —> putting it on-chain

Millions of devs around the world already build using modular architectures That’s how the web as we know it scaled and that’s how the next generation will scale

To get to Web scale, everyone will have to modularize.

The beautiful thing about blended execution is you can mix and match languages when building an app You can use Solidity for most of your app if you find that an easier experience and pull in Rust / C libraries when you need to

@0xJim 1. Simple storage structures. Why do you need me to deploy contracts to store data inside? 2. Pythonic language, why require verbose languages like Rust / C to build smart contracts?
