ZK is heating up so fast atm. New projects launching at a higher frequency than before. Used to learn about 2-3 new projects per month, now I learn about 1-2 new projects per day. Many are copy pasta but some are developing something new or at least trying to tackle a new problem.

This is what we had been hoping someone would build after our Attested Audio Experiment - the attested microphone . Without it, we could only emulate the signature on the original audio file. Very cool !.
The grand reveal 😲 . In 2 days we built, from scratch, an anti-deepfake microphone and won @ETHGlobal Paris! . This product can prove that audio was recorded on real mics and legitimately edited. No deepfakes. No disinformation. Read more in the post below!

So according to team, the orb remains. bummer. I think the orb & scanning ppls eyes at conferences, meetups + parties is a bad solution to the unique ID problem. And I want to see alternative ideas emerge. In the meantime, don't get orb'd.

So just to check: the collection of ppls genetically immutable biometric data by the orb is currently protected by a data clause in the t&cs, unaudited closed-source code, TEE and the team saying “it’s safe-ish” . Do ppl know this when they submit their eyes iris to this system?.
