I was invited by @UpToDate to write the story of my years of living with #MECFS. This was different for me - no history, no advocacy, just my life. This journal is read by health professionals worldwide and my hope is that by reading my story, they will be inspired to learn more.

@sunsopeningband It will also make it more difficult for scientists at smaller institutions to do research since their institutions will not be able to absorb those costs. We never know where breakthroughs will come from. Reducing support for scientists is a bad idea.
