Toddlers seek extreme sensory experiences Tell a child to pick a color, he will reach for the brightest. A flavor? Sickly sweet. Palates turn delicate, nuanced, refined only through experience and reflection. Some cultures eat like toddlers.

Maybe they should add a BIPOC menu to restaurants in Italy, France and Spain. You know.. children menu with chicken nuggets and fries and a BIPOC menu where anything you order is thrown in with hot peppers in a blender and served in purée format

In mexico they throw hot peppers on everything and pass it through a blender. Their food is purées in different shades of brown They have drinks that look like someone gave their toddler keys to the bar. Beer + shrimp + gummy bears in a tall glass.

Something similar happens in India with the spice and blender combo. Everything pureefied and tasting like someone is slicing your tongue. American black cuisine.. well, they don’t even use natural ingredients, just rubs and dry bottled spice mixes

Let me pioneer the schizo-pop genre: Harry Potter was astroturfed, probably written by a team of ghost writers. The goal was ideological: giving new wings to the old WWII creed, but tailored to Millenials.

@AxisofTruth I think it also has to do with not having access to a lot of fresh food.. cause it tends to be poorer countries.. spice will mask odd flavours. Say you have meat on the verge to go bad.. it won’t make you sick but it tastes weird already.. add some chimichurri: problem solved

Harry Potter was written to prepare Millenials for mass immigration. To get them comfortable with the new demoted rank they would enjoy in their own societies 20 years down the line. After all that's what you have to do if you want to be good. It did the job.

Universalism is secular, claims to be pure reason, the irrational belief is "everything is equal in every respect". They sacrifice discernment, the capacity to set one thing apart and claim it to be better, or worse, than the rest. Paradoxically, the 1 thing you need to reason.

If whomever commissioned Harry Potter to be written gave the readers the gift of understanding the motive the debate would then center around an actual moral debate like ends-vs-means. But these, of course, are "dangerous ideas" that must be suppressed.

In Harry Potter magic is a trait, and people can be born with or without it. If you have magic you are a wizard, if you don't you are a "muggle". There are also more subtle disctinctions which turn it into pretty much the perfect soup for a caste society.

Let's see how the novel treats the question of ultimate evil by looking at Voldemort, a brilliant execution of this doctrine. But hey, you must sacrifice discernment to accept him as plausible. Since the novels were crafted for ideological purposes this isn't an issue.

The only reason a movement of blood purity within the wizardry world would make sense is if magic was a recessive genetic trait that got weaker when admixing with muggles and in danger of being lost forever. Is magic valuable enough to go to war to protect it? Maybe.

If your trait is dominant there is no need to protect it. A black purity movement works against the interests of a black supremacist bc any race admixing with blacks will produce black children. The sensible thing is the opposite, to advocate for domination through admixture.
