Learned that negative edge is off by default.
It's not in the general control settings in character select (img1). Instead, is in the game settings, for each player (img2)

I never liked that Guilty Gear (+R/Xrd) was considered a hard game, where imo it’s pretty baby game and good chunk of the cast has a very open ended and easy to execute gameplans

Fighting games, a genre full of pro button mashers, late night couch sessions, and competition, is dear to my heart. Beyond many hype moments fighting games have given us, there is a tenderness and camaraderie which I adore and try to capture.
