I think they draw on the iPads better than I can draw on anything š. It was great to see them begin to create on the iPads, and use them beyond learning apps.
Mrs. Veceraās class loved tech time out with Duffer!!Ā Ā We learned how to draw and write about our favorite seasons on our IPads!!

I was so impressed with both kindergarten classes! They listened and followed along so well!! They were excited to learn that they could take something they created on paper and also create it digitally.

It is so fun to show kids (and adults) a new tool and then watch them run with it as they explore all the things.

I got to combine all my nerdiness š¤ in this lessonā¦ Space, Robotics, and Technology!!
Today Ms. Hendon and Mrs. Shannonās classes had a special visitor. Jennifer Duffer, our district technology specialist, did an event with our 3rd graders as they finished their unit on planets and space. Mrs. Duffer helped explain the distance from Earth to the Moon and how close the space stations are to our earth. She then helped them code their own lunar rover drivers to control a robot and move around Mars. It was a technology filled morning of learning and adventure.

I had such an amazing day working with these teachers and students!! We ALL learned so much, and we did it together. Thank you to these brave teachers that signed up for me to come teach in their classrooms today, and their awesome kiddos for listening and participating so well.

I LOVED my day today subbing in a 7th grade science class!! Donāt get me wrong, I love teaching our teachers as part of the @MISD_Technology Instructional Tech team, but I sure do miss working with the kiddos so Iām thankful for opportunities like this to fill my cup.

Well, we came in town from Texas for the @MasonSoftball camp, but since it has been postponed I guess we will explore the campus on our own and enjoy some more sights around town. @jmrw20 and @cam_hutcherson we wonāt see you next weekend but weāll come watch you in Louisiana in a few weeks! @K_Simpson_10
