Today Ms. Hendon and Mrs. Shannonâs classes had a special visitor. Jennifer Duffer, our district technology specialist, did an event with our 3rd graders as they finished their unit on planets and space. Mrs. Duffer helped explain the distance from Earth to the Moon and how close the space stations are to our earth. She then helped them code their own lunar rover drivers to control a robot and move around Mars. It was a technology filled morning of learning and adventure.
