To the pastor who made countless visits, numerous counseling sessions, and agreed to do their weddings, funerals, and preached to them faithfully week in and week out, only to have 'em ghost you and go elsewhere... Good job. Seriously, good job.

@jasonkovacs Not to former congregants, but I do hand write letters to those I visit, and to those having a birthday or facing the anniversary of a loved one’s death. I also sent notes to area pastors, city leaders, and new members/believers.

The Henslees had delicious BBQ tonight as I grilled burgers on a smokeless, electric grill. That line was just to mess with @jaredcornutt, @PastorOnTheFly, @micah_head, and all you BBQ purists out there. Idcwut you grill snobs think—we were out of propane and they were delish!

Getting ready to gather with the saints called Plymouth Park Baptist Church—first up, A/V meeting with Doran. Then I’ll “make my rounds” during Sunday school before we come together as one family to make much of Jesus.

Today is this girl’s birthday—she asked to go to work with me “if I had visits to make,” so we grabbed donuts, did school in the office, and then made visits at the hospital and more. She asked for Taco Bell for her birthday lunch and is winding down the workday with a nap.
