Being right for the wrong reasons is, in many ways, just as bad as being wrong for the right reasons. (not an AI)

"Assault" & "style" have no place in our firearms laws or discourse. "Assault" is a human action covered in the criminal code. "-style" means something is literally not the thing it's styled after. Anyone using these terms to limit legal ownership rights is lying to you.
The gun lobby is out in full force in Canada with more disinformation. Their latest lie is that we are going after hunters. No one is talking about banning hunting rifles. We are taking the next step in banning military-style, semi-automatic #AssaultWeapons

@KTransgirl @BethO29114 @legaltweetz And there you go using that word again that you can't define without appealing to regressive stereotypes.... All you're doing is proving why your ideology is a dangerous mental illness.

@Starkweather83 @BethO29114 @legaltweetz @extweetenator ? Doesn't even make sense, then removes themselves from the discussion... 🤷

@JulieTunnock @KTransgirl @BethO29114 @legaltweetz Ikr? And then they just block, thereby removing themselves from the discussion. They're so divisive.

@AdistantShout @feufighter888 @pattonoswalt 😆 hate it when that happens. But to give it credit, "Clintonian' probably isn't in its dictionary.

@DeanKo @The1WhoKnows7 @pattonoswalt Closing depts isn't tyranny. He has a mandate and he's going through with it. What do you mean with "controlling personal info"? You mean collecting/storing? That's been going on for literally ever.

@FranticKeymastr @The1WhoKnows7 @pattonoswalt I'm confused what you mean by "spread thin". The US has clear separation of powers as part of how it functions. That's different from having a potentially infinite number of depts spending tax dollars on all sorts of different things.

@CloverSevenLeaf @Beaulieu423 @legaltweetz No such thing as "brain sex". Female ppl have female brains, male ppl have male brains.
1. Understanding Observations in Research: When research indicates that there are "typical differences" in brain development between males and females, it's based on observations. This means scientists have collected data from numerous individuals, analyzed it, and found patterns or trends that are common among males and females respectively. 2. Descriptive vs. Prescriptive: These findings are descriptive. Descriptive statistics tell us what is commonly observed in a population, but they do not prescribe how things should be. For instance, if research shows that on average, males have a larger brain volume, this is merely describing a trend, not setting a rule that all males must have this characteristic. 3. Statistical Norms: The term "statistical norm" refers to what is most frequently observed in a group. In the context of brain development, if males typically show certain patterns, this is just the most common scenario, not the only acceptable one. 4. Individual Variation: Just because a male's brain development does not fit within the statistical norm does not mean they are any less male. Human biology, including brain structure, exhibits considerable variability. Not all males will have brains that match the typical male pattern because individuals can naturally fall outside of these norms. 5. Broadening the Range of Expression: When a male brain expresses characteristics outside the typical statistical norm, it contributes to the understanding of the diversity within the male population. It shows that the range of what is considered 'male' in terms of brain structure is broader than previously thought. This individual is not less male; they are simply adding to the spectrum of male brain expression, which enriches our understanding of human variability. Conclusion: The observation of typical differences in brain development between males and females helps us understand general trends but does not dictate individual identity or validity. Males with brain characteristics outside the norm are still males, contributing to the diversity and expanding our knowledge of what constitutes male brain development. This diversity is a natural part of human biology and should be recognized as such rather than seen as a deviation from a supposed standard.

"treatment is transition" No such thing. No human has ever changed from the immutable natal gender (m/f sex) they are born as, to the opposite gender (m/f sex). "stops" Not guaranteed, and the numbers don't bode well at all. Considering the so-called "treatment" requires the rest of the population to engage in the delusion, it's simply not rational to claim it's valid treatment in any way.

No, it doesn't. It's foundationally flawed as it's based on the promotion of regressive stereotypes that are non-prescriptive. There's no such thing as some inherent "matching/alignment/etc" between a person's immutable natal gender and where they end up in the sexual dimorphism spectrum. Males are allowed to express outside the statistical norms observed in males. The fact that you're resorting to fear-mongering on the suicide of kids experiencing distress because they don't "match" regressive stereotypes that they're incorrectly interpreting as prescriptive, kids who are being told by you deluded ideologues that they're born in the wrong body, is simply disgusting.

@BethO29114 @fantomclaw @unicorn__sauce @legaltweetz It's incredibly ironic, given trans-identifying males' widespread & heavy use of filters.

@legaltweetz @BethO29114 The question of what are the valid and coherent usages of these words, has nothing to do with the study of biology.

More dishonest deflection. Again: I've simply addressed the foundational flaws in your claims (no such thing as some inherent matching/alignment, the invalidity of claiming that some static past version of observed dimorphic stereotypes should be considered prescriptive, etc). You remain free to address my statements with relevant & valid responses. For example: If you feel a statement is making an unsupported claim, you are free to point it out and challenge me to support it.
