Insanely bold libertarian, anarcho-capitalist *messaging* just won a presidential election in Argen-fucking-tina.
This is big.
You’re allowed to have a little hope.
@InternetH0F
this entirely misunderstands the nature of their wealth. it's not income. whenever you hear "so-n-so just became a billionaire", it's not they gained a bunch of actual money, it's that the value of the stock of the company they own shares in (likely due to starting it) went up.
@RedEviction
Maybe one day y’all’ll look into the root cause of things instead of just hyper-focusing on the surface level of every issue. Although, that would require looking critically at government interventions into the economy, and there seems to be a mental block there.

Sometimes numbers go down
And when they go down, it means they’re smaller than they used to be
And that is significant
But numbers
Can also
Go up
And when they do
They become unburdened
By what they had been
Which is also significant
And important
Starting next week, Americans will only be able to purchase LED lights from retailers across the nation as an official ban on incandescent lightbulbs will go into effect.
What if the purpose of public schools is to keep people dumb?
What if the purpose of welfare is to keep people poor?
What if the purpose of regulation is to keep corporations powerful?
What if the purpose of national defense is to create enemies?
@libsoftiktok
It’s one thing to hold celebrities responsible or to call out videos influencers make. You’re going after normies. This is straight up cancel culture. You’ve become what you hate.
Abortion is the one issue where I don't feel like there's a correct stance. Both sides of the debate have valid arguments when they're not busy straw-manning each other.
It comes down to when the baby/fetus has rights, & I don't know where to draw that line.
A lot of us are going to jump ship after Chase’s win tonight, and while I don’t expect a ton of you to join me, I’ll be voting

.
2024 is now a single issue election for me, and that issue is a referendum on Covid-19.

Yesterday, I held up this sign calling Donald Trump supporters socialists.
Tonight, the Libertarian Party nominated a gay race communist for president.
With those choices, I'm standing with Donald Trump.
If you think
@martyrmade
is taking heat for his critique of Winston Churchill, just wait until someone tells the truth about Abraham Lincoln on Tucker Carlson's show.
@jeremykauffman
Wages lag behind prices as part of the Cantillon effect. The prices of food go up long before your wage goes up, and wages don’t necessarily rise in proportion.
Putting aside the immigration stance, the standard-bearer for the Libertarian Party,
@ChaseForLiberty
, doesn’t even get basic, basic economics right.
No, not all labor has value. Labor does not create value. Value is subjective.
The entire Mises Caucus story arc was building toward a crescendo with a Dave Smith run in 2024.
Him dropping out completely swept the rug out from under the movement. I get that it wasn’t a good time for him and his family, but liberty needed him now.

If producers and sellers can’t get a price that makes it worth it to produce and/or sell that item, they will stop.
This is why price controls only have two outcomes:
A) no effect (ex: capping the cost of eggs at $100/dozen)
B) shortages
Prices aren’t arbitrary. They mean
@DelusionPosting
This is so fucking stupid it hurt.
10 is 2 in binary. The answer didn’t change.
Math is universal.
The language used to communicate the underlying concepts is the social construct.
People who can’t tell the difference need to stop thinking they’re smart.

Actually that’s pretty accurate from a cultural perspective, give or take the editorialization. Our culture is definitely run by women at this point.
Here’s an easy way to tell. Put out two tweets. One saying that women are better than men at something, and then one saying men
Well, shit, boys.
They figured out that we're just quote-mining to make our foreign policy arguments.
It's never been more over.

It's unbelievable to me that people like
@nickgillespie
still don't understand what our beef is with
@ChaseForLiberty
when it comes to Covid.
Do y'all still not understand what that was?
While
@ComicDaveSmith
is out here getting the opportunity to bury Covid propagandists like
I’m sorry, but the fact that
@ChaseForLiberty
was following along with the Covid propaganda as long as he was is disqualifying for bearing the LP standard. No, he wasn’t demanding others follow along, but he was signaling that he was. He doesn’t get it.

Why I passed on the jab:
- this was new technology. mRNA vax had never been to market before
- vax are usually tested 10+ years before release
- Pfizer et al had legal immunity from neg fx
- covid really only killed the old and obese
- I understand propaganda
Mises Caucus needed to be excavating these tweets the whole time. I talked to a lot of people on the floor who didn’t understand why we didn’t like Chase who got it pretty much immediately when I described how he was during Covid mania.
I finally found a KF94 mask I find to be comfortable and my mask/glasses lanyard arrived so I don't have to just stuff it in my pocket or on a table when I sit down to eat.
Yes, I wear a mask where businesses require it or where distancing is impossible.

The government does too much and has too much power.
The less power the state has and the less it does in society, the less it will matter who is president.
