A takeaway I learned while animating a tunnel in 2D. To make viewers feel like going through a tunnel, I gotta create the illusion of depth. If we’re animating Z position in 3D, it’s not a problem. But if we’re animating SCALE property in 2D, it’s easy to overlook. [. ]

Here’s the breakdown of the rigging of an ambulance drifting by a trophy 👇. Everything was built in Ae 2D. Some ambulances had a side view in one styleframe. Some ambulances had a front view in another. So I collected them all and aligned them together in a separate file.
