For our chapter in this volume, Robin Angelini, @katta_spiel and I interviewed deaf and hearing professionals involved in sign language machine translation about their perspectives on the development of signing avatars. Happy to see this out!
Delighted to see this volume now in print, co-edited with Andy Way & Dimitar Shterioniov with great contributions from colleagues, deaf and hearing, from across Europe & further afield. .@AdaptCentre @EUD_Brussels @SignONEU @EASIERproject

11/11 This is a great example of how technology can enhance interpreting processes if we are prepared to look at it differently; and centre deaf-/sign language spaces. .@efsli @efsliDI @WASLI_tweets something to consider? /end
