I’m super proud of the history we’ve made in only 2 years.
Told you to believe and you became my first individual state champ today in Triple jump (49-0.50)
I can’t wait to see what you do at the next level

This D1 or nothing mentality is going to backfire on a lot of upcoming athletes..
A lot of Division 1 schools come to OUR facility... Will never bash another program, but a lot of Division 1 schools struggle to compete in our CONFERENCE.. Look at the numbers...
From my experience:
MECHANICS, not fitness, is the primary reason for athletes not finishing the 100m and 200m “strong”.
Instead of looking at the winner… evaluate the the rest of the field who were in contention to win at 30m.
Top 10 Fastest Women's 200m Times in World Champs History:

Technique first in the jumps; your jumps coach has to force you to jump the right way
When you’re into developmental the side
Of coaching
nothing feels better than seeing an athlete grab a concept and start to master it

As a younger coach , I think I’ve changed the game in my area when it comes to social media.
It’s about learning and getting better by any means
Seeing different perspectives
I love Coaches' Twitter. So much access to so many great minds. As a younger coach, I really wish i would've used this resource more. As a seasoned coach (I ain't old yet) I still love learning, but I also love hearing the war stories that made you guys who you are now. WELL DONE
Noah Lyles "only" running 19.52 makes me think, if anything, Usain Bolt is underrated.
Lyles said it was tough to run super fast as 19.52 was his 6th race in 7 days. When Bolt ran his 19.30 and 19.19 WRs, they were his 8th races in 6 days!
It’s called the “1%” for a reason
1000+ athletes & 10 years in, I’ve seen way more get it wrong than I have get it right. Put the work in. Consistently and relentlessly.. Whether you’re an athlete or professional in your career. You’ll be surprised where it’ll take you.
