In an open source enviroment, how does cross collaboration work? Who is your competitor, who is your partner? The traditional definitions of biz relationships are blurred... What we get is a fluid state of coopetition between protocols, dApps, and chains

@frankNFT_eth @Etherealize_io Polygon is not an L2. Their zkEVM stack is an L2 and uses ETH as gas token. Apechain is super small, and built on the APE token, so fair enough. TL;DR: majority of big L2s actually use ETH

@frankNFT_eth @Etherealize_io Who exactly? The biggest L2s are all using ETH as gas token Plus, L2s always pay fees in ETH to mainnet regardless of their gas token

@sosecrypto_kr @nickwh8te I think there is an orbit chain built on Arbitrum with the same POL mechanism. So from a technical perspective yes, they could have.

Very outdated take. This is 2025 - Majority of these barriers have been removed already. Use @privy_io for easy log in A chain abstraction protocol to abstract any concept of bridging, gas, L2 fragmentation. @arbitrum as a fast and secure L2 KYC still a friction, I think @CoinbaseWallet is enabling no KYC for < $100? What other solutions exist.
