Anti-semitism isn't a problem for Jewish people alone to solve. It's on all of us to consider our role in it and to do better. That includes recognizing our power (non-Jews) as allies to listen, learn, and amplify the voices that need to be heard and work that needs to be done.
Jews are only 0.19% of the world’s population.
Non-Jewish friends, please speak up about antisemitism.
It will take all of society, not just Jews, to get rid of it.

I wish that, when I left home for college 10+ years ago, I would’ve kept count of the number of events and group meetings where I was the only Black person or person of color in the room.
Easily in the hundreds, maybe near 1,000? Either way, it’s exhausting and needs to change.

My dad’s 5th birthday since he passed away was last week. Grief is horrible and doesn’t come with a set timeline.
With that said, I’ve found SO much strength in sharing my dad’s story and my grief, hopefully making it more normal to talk about in the process.💪🏾
