@themightyingers @TCowey26 it’s just the shot anis takes. it takes into account the speed of the ball towards him, the positioning of the defenders around him, and the goalkeeper. it does look an easy chance but actually a lot can go wrong with that finish. for reference a penalty is about 77% or 0.77

@BenBracey3 not sure a poacher is right as we sacrifice someone in build up, but defo a runner beyond him as he occupies centre backs. someone like andi who can operate in the 10 but make those runs off the striker would’ve been perfect

@BenBracey3 can already see signs of improvement tbf. simplified his game, touches are tidier, he makes less runs in behind but the runs he’s making are much more intelligent than the spinning without thinking he showed when he got here

@BristolCityFM bit of quality and actual ‘10’ play from twine that we’ve been crying out for. do think he benefits slightly from having sincs in front of him, wells has the tendency to operate in the same area at times

@Jshchlctt exactly mate. sincs bad finishing let him down but start of the season he was finding him with nice little through balls and reverse passes 2/3 times a game. not sure twine nahki mehmeti is a good front 3 because there’s no one running beyond the defence and stretching it

in short i think the twine ‘problem’ isn’t with the player but the fact that it’s a significant outlay in terms of transfer fee with no clear vision of how he’s gonna play/work in the ‘system,’ and mannings refusal to compromise on it and play to our players strengths hurts him
