@ChimeraX2021 @robertemeryx @Dollywaggon @thomasforth It's a slow process. Crossing a shedding sheep with a non-shedding does not guarantee the offspring will be shedding too. You can't just swap out a flock of 1000+ animals overnight.

@ChimeraX2021 @robertemeryx @Dollywaggon @thomasforth It has. My farming family transitioned to shedding sheep about 15 to 20 years ago. Just not worth the outlay for shearers.

@Dollywaggon @thomasforth They exist. Easycare sheep. Most sheep that can survive British hill weather have fleeces that are too tough and wiry to wear. Some is used for wool insulation for housing but there is not a market for tough wiry wool which is difficult to clean as full of burrs and thorns

@TsuiAllen @TfL The new colours are helpful for a newbie like me trying to work out the tube map. All the orange wasn't always clear where lines intersected. No comment on reliability of service though.

@AnnieBeale1 Most LA in Scotland have done a lot of work on "cost of the school day" uniform is one of the things that it has been made as accessible as possible - simple colours to be available in supermarkets etc

@MsSammyMcHugh There was a bulge of extra teachers 14 or so years ago. Part of a promise to limit class sizes in early years. There weren't physically the classrooms for them to be employed.

@englishspecial Toddler has a story from us at bedtime then listens to a story on his yoto to go to sleep. Often find him reading along during the day - there's a turn the page sound to help.

@LeeBraganza Soft play in the rheged centre would be great for your 2 littlest. And the cakes are incredible for mum and dad!!
