Today is the day after 47 years that I end my working career. A career that started in Civil Eng in the Drainage Dept ends in the swamp of Personal Finance. Some days have been better than brilliant others horrific. Its mine and Mrs W's time now. Our new life starts today.

Tried to book a GP appointment. It's now 9:15am and all booked. It is not an emergency so I can't claim to need urgent attention so it is phone back tomorrow from 8:30am. Neither wonder A&E is rammed if this is what it is like. Thank you Sturgeon for ruining the NHS in Scotland

Been advised by my dentist to see my GP about a blemish on my face. Phoned GP for appt. GP must phone me first to decide whether to see me or not. Invariably he will. How is this good use of GPs valuable time when they are under so much pressure. We need GP's working normally.

Just dropped my wife off at the Health Centre. First time there since last year. There are large red and white signs up STOP DO NOT ENTER. You would have thought it was a nuclear fallout zone. These people are meant to be looking after us and that's how you are welcomed by them.

Does anyone know if the Dentists in Scotland have come out of hiding yet or are we still saving the NHS and bugger our health. Not had a checkup for nearly 18 months. A friend of mine got his mouth cancer caught early by the dentist and that is my concern is this is missed.
