@ChuckHodl 14 years is a great run, but still so hard to say goodbye to a best friend. So very sorry man. I know this pain first hand. It’s tough. 💔

So by this rationale, if I put a bunch of effort into digging a big hole in my back yard, and people understand the energy that was invested in extracting that dirt from the earth, and decide to agree that it has value, then I can buy stuff with it? Maybe. But eventually people may become convinced that my neighbor, who is using a smaller shovel, thus expelling more energy to extract his dirt from the earth is more valuable than my dirt?

@tobyzapf @unusual_whales And it costs way more to buy and to mine. Isn’t it ironic that something that costs so much to buy, yet holds no intrinsic value, is also such a drain on resources to create?!?

@unusual_whales I definitely believe that @IanCarrollShow was truly hacked. I don’t believe he’d ever do something like this to his audience.

Only until people realize that it holds no intrinsic value. It consumes energy to create, but there is no way to extract that objective energy out of it. It only stores that energy subjectively in the imaginations of people. As long as people agree to believe there is value there, then there is – subjectively. But I believe objective value is far more secure than subjective value. Don’t get me wrong, I think there is huge opportunity in crypto currently while the tides are flowing that way, but ultimately I think the crypto markets (including BTC) is just a big game of chicken.

@unexpected_ape @peruvian_bull If true, I think this theory would have been proven by now. Yet the tricks and manipulation continue.

@RichardSeehaus1 @gamestop @ShaunFitzzzy While watts (energy) are converted into bitcoin, how does one extract watts FROM bitcoin? I see no true storage of value (energy) taking place in this equation.

@daytimesinger @unusual_whales Tech is more fragile than people realize. Especially as wealth and power becomes more concentrated and centralized. Mark my word, tech and and the greater digital information network will increasingly be weaponized against civilization for the purpose of power and manipulation.
