I can’t even count the number of times I’ve left the office and been walking down George st, sun beating down, people around me laughing, heading for a cold beer somewhere on the water and thought “This just doesn’t feel right. I need a long black and a nuclear deterrent, stat”.
@ShitUserStory
I’ve got one for you.
As a …
- online banking user
I want to…
be blocked from pasting account details into transfer fields
So that…
I can send money to the wrong account because some dufus thinks this is security
@sabrshukur
Ben is my son, someone faked this and of course you trolls all
Kicked into overdrive. Ben was nowehere near Bondi junction and is just fine and healthy - to your chagrin
@AdameMedia
@MattWallace888
Hey Matt, would you please issue a correction and an apology to my son for the harm you’ve caused? Thanks. Hey Adam, want to delete that tweet maybe? Thanks.
@its_ayzee
True that Ben is a Jew. However he had nothing to do with the Bondi junction attack. He’s alive and well and was nowhere near Bondi. He’s my son. Also half the age of the attacker.
I did the Sydney Trail Series 21km run at Manly Dam yesterday and I underestimated how much harder trail runs can be than road runs, but I finished my first trail run and my first actual half marathon and I’m kinda proud of myself because I was running 2 to 3kms a year ago.
An absolutely stupid thing to say and how does this get published in a publication like the afr. Parks do NOT EXIST FOR TOURISTS. tourists choose to visit parks. Parks exist to protect land from the humans who paid the shill to write this.
Gues wh’s joining
@ClaimCentralAU
as the Divisional CEO of Intelligent Thought, the software division? This guy! 🙌. Going to be fun and challenge all round, joining a great team that’s doing amazing things already!
@luznura
Lies. Ben had nothing to do with it. He’s my son, he’s half the age of the attacker, he’s alive and well, and he was nowhere near Bondi junction.
My wife made chicken korma for dinner and forgot what it's called and so she asked "what's the name of the chicken I cooked?" And I said "Eric" and now I demand my dad joke of the year award.
Project Standing Desk is complete. Pretty happy with how it turned out. 1.8m surface so heaps of space to spread out. Waxed the surface because it’s oak, but left the legs raw because the pine will age and darken and get a bit of patina hopefully.
Hah these guys somehow stole one of our old innovation day logos from
@Domaincomau
and used it on their site - without even removing the Domain M logo - how cheeky is that
It takes an incredible amount of skill to make a spice rack that is so perfectly snug and has the dowel running across at EXACTLY the right height to obscure every single label 🤔😬🤦
I was once at Bunnings and a piece of meranti caught my eye. First time I ever impulse-bought a plank. Lockdown-shopping, what can I say. It sat in my workshop for a long time. Just finished making it into a box. Finished with organic wax. I’m happy with this.
Weekend project... I found an old grundig tv on the nature strip with a sign “free working tv” stuck on. Trip to Bunnings for a melamine shelf and brackets, relocation of an Apple TV - and the granny flat now has Netflix. Total cost of $20.
@benedictevans
Its going to be a copy of Afterpay / Zip pay / Klarna / the many others. Their primary revenue is in the merchant fees and secondary in flat rate late l-fees. At least here in AU by charging flat rate fees and not interest, you circumvent much of the fin services license reqs

NGL feels like we are watching the world stacking the kindling and getting the matches out and getting ready to burn itself down. It’s good to know we have you friends out there.
There are basically three blockers to corporate innovation. There’s “I’m too busy with my day job”, “where we we even start” and “we can’t do that”. I wonder if there’s value in a scalable framework to beat this.
I just got an email from Bunnings asking me to review the timber I ordered a while ago. Seriously, we're reviewing timber planks now? "Five stars, these were very solid planks. Well suited to the man with plank sketch".
Found this cheap ‘n nasty ikea dresser out for clean-up. Sanded, cleaned up edges with a router. Stain and varnish, black paint on knobs and feet. Total cost $0. Thanks for stopping by Mark’s DIY Stream.
This tweet eleven years ago was the start of the journey that gave
@Domaincomau
their first mobile app and set them up to survive and thrive as the world shifted to mobile. Basil was Fairfax’s first ever mobile developer and this moment is why domain is what it is today.
You book an hour long meeting it takes an hour. You book a 45 min long meeting and it’s done in 45 min. Meetings are gaseous - they fill whatever container you put them in. Ten minute default duration for meetings - who’s with me?
Finishing off restoring this very old ex-south African park bench. Each leg is +- 25kg of cast iron, and the hardwood came up a treat. into storage for a few months then it’s new home will be in the shade under a *very* big tree. They really don’t make stuff this solid any more.
